Kim Kieller

Kim is a recognized and respected family law professional with 40 years of experience as counsel in family law and estate litigation matters. In 2024, Kim transitioned from her private client practice to focus solely on Dispute Resolution, allowing her to efficiently deliver professional Mediation, Arbitration and mediation-arbitration services. This unique practice structure enables efficient, client-centred and entirely neutral delivery of all dispute resolution services.

  • Extensive experience handling complex property and corporate asset family law cases in negotiations and litigation.
  • Respected author & speaker at legal education meetings, including the Law Society of Ontario, Ontario Bar Association, Advocates Society, and International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL).
  • Elected by her peers as repeatedly recommended in Lexpert rankings.
  • Certified Mediator (Ontario Association of Family Mediators) and trained Arbitrator (ADR Institute of Canada).

Kim holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Dispute Resolution from Osgoode Hall Law School.

For the last 15 years, Kim has served as a Dispute Resolution Officer for the Superior Court of Justice (Family Law Division). She is also an active leader in the field, serving on non-profit boards, including:

  • Family Dispute Resolution Institute of Ontario (FDRIO).
  • International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL), where she is the Canadian representative for the IAFL Dispute Resolution Committee.
